| • Sarah skated both long track and short track and attended nationals throughout the years for both.
She won a North American Championship in the Juvenile category and one National Championship in the Midget category for long track speed skating.
• In 2005, she won the Jr. Long Track Nationals. In 2007, Sarah was part of the Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse, Yukon, with Team
Alberta. In long track speed skating, she placed in the top 10 in all her distances.
• Now, Sarah calls Calgary home where she is enrolled in the study of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. She qualified for the
2008 Junior World Long Track championships in Changchun, China and her best result was fourth in the team pursuit.
• For the 2008-09 season she was named to Canada’s 2014 team, which supports athletes training for those winter games.
• Currently, Sarah is training in Calgary and her goal is to compete at the 2009 Junior Worlds in Poland and to make the National
Development team.
